Designer & Tattoo Artist

Consti

Growing up in the 90s in a suburb of Frankfurt, I found peace early in drawing and designing. I enjoyed realistic motives, portraits, typography and graphic forms, which I explored analogously and digitally.

Inspired by Legends such as Paula Scher and M.C. Escher, I learned and developed my graphic design skills and after completing my training as a bank clerk while tattooing in my free time, I worked as a graphic designer until 2023. I am happy that my expirience helped me successfully transfer my creativity to the craft of tattooing and enabling me to work for the past two years professionally as a tattoo artist.

You can find me with Kiki in our STUDIO in Papenburg.

In my hometown Bad Homburg and in Frankfurt Appointments can be made by arrangement.

Safety and hygiene2025-10-03T10:30:19+02:00

I hold a current hygiene certificate from the D.O.T. EV (German Organised Tattoo Artists). This does not mean that I only have a piece of paper, but that the issue is very important to me, as it forms the basis of my trade. I therefore maintain very high standards. All products that come into contact with your skin are sterile and high-quality disposable materials from leading manufacturers of clinical and tattoo supplies.

Ink2025-10-03T10:32:55+02:00

My tattoos are done only in black and grey (no colour tattoos). The vegan tattoo ink I use is made in Italy and complies with the current REACH regulation. It is also registered with the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety.

Other properties: sterile, cruelty-free, free from carcinogens, isopropyl alcohol and preservatives. Experience has shown that healing time is short and skin irritation is reduced.

My grey wash is diluted only with a clinical saline solution. This eliminates further sources of danger and accelerates the healing process.

Price2025-10-03T22:59:23+02:00

The price is determined by factors such as design, amount of work, materials as well as my skills and experience and is non-negotiable.

The total price for large projects is spread over several sessions and is therefore not payable in one go. This allows you to schedule your appointments relatively close together or spread them out over a longer period of time, depending on your budget.

My prices are adjusted annually, so I expect projects that have been started to be completed within one year.

Appointments and payment2025-10-03T22:55:42+02:00

We can arrange an appointment as soon as you have paid a deposit equal to half of the session price. Your deposit will be deducted from the final session. The minimum number of sessions required to achieve the optimal result for your project will be determined in advance. The price per session are to be paid at the end of each session. Payment is preferably made by card or cash.

Cancellation and postponement of appointments2025-10-03T23:16:00+02:00

You can reschedule your appointment 7 days in advance by sending me an email.

If you cancel at short notice without a valid reason your deposit will unfortunately be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to arrange a new appointment.

If you cancel the appointment without giving notice a further cooperation will not be possible.

Preparation2025-10-03T10:43:16+02:00

Before your appointment, you can buy a wound and healing ointment or, better still, my tattoo cream on site. You should also make sure that you regularly apply cream to the area of your body to be tattooed a week before your appointment to protect it from drying out. However, please do not apply cream from the evening before your appointment. It is also advisable to drink plenty of water a few days before your appointment. You are welcome to shower before your appointment.

Appointment day2025-10-03T10:45:17+02:00

Finally, the time has come.

You should arrive at your tattoo appointment feeling healthy, well-rested and having had breakfast.

Unfortunately, I cannot tattoo you if you

have consumed alcohol and/or drugs within 24 hours of your appointment

are pregnant or breastfeeding

have recently been vaccinated

have taken antibiotics or cortisone

have sunburn on the area of your body to be tattooed

Feel free to bring something to eat and drink with you. If a longer session is planned, you are welcome to bring headphones or your iPad with you to listen to/watch your favourite podcast, series, etc. This provides variety and can distract you a little.

After care2025-10-03T10:48:15+02:00

The final result is influenced by your care and attention. I recommend letting the freshly inked tattoo dry for 2-3 days. During this time, keep the tattoo clean. To do this, wipe it with sensitive, pH-neutral, unscented soap as needed and pat it dry with fresh paper towels.

If the tattoo is dry after a few days and starts to feel tight, you can begin to apply a light layer of cream as needed to prevent tight skin and scabbing. Light means applying as little cream as possible; too little is better than too much.

You should also avoid sun exposure for the next four weeks, as well as swimming or going to the sauna. Bathing in the bathtub is also off limits during this time.

Risks2025-10-03T10:50:26+02:00

During the pre-consultation, I will show you the design on a digital template so that you can visualise your tattoo as accurately as possible. With my experience and skills, I will try to stay as close to the reference template as possible, but I reserve the right to artistically work around any ‘problems’ that arise, such as birthmarks, or to leave them exposed.

Even though I work very meticulously and with the utmost hygiene, inflammation or allergic reactions can occur in rare cases. That is why aftercare and your cooperation are so important in order to avoid risks. More on this under the heading Aftercare.

In addition, there are some areas of the body where there is a health risk of the ink running under the skin, known as a blowout, e.g. in areas with weaker and/or lighter connective tissue. Unfortunately, this cannot be ruled out in advance, so no liability can be accepted for this.
